Review by Franz Robert WILD

Bessie Griffin's album Testimony is a powerful and moving collection of gospel music. The album features Griffin's soulful voice and her expertly crafted songs, which are full of passion, faith, and emotion.

The album opens with the stirring track "How I Got Over," which sets the tone for the rest of the record. Griffin's voice soars over the choir, and the song's message of perseverance and triumph over adversity is both uplifting and inspiring.

Other standout tracks on the album include "The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow," a beautiful ballad that showcases Griffin's vocal range and her ability to convey deep emotion through her singing. "I Must Tell Jesus" is another standout track, featuring Griffin's expressive voice and a powerful message of faith and redemption.

Mark 2:16-18

And the scribes of the Pharisees ... said to his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Are you kidding me! Move on over, Sister Mahalia. I need a towel to wipe the sweat off my brow.

Some people believe that Bessie Griffin was the greatest gospel singer though she just didn’t get the credit because Mahalia Jackson was the queen. Listen to her singing sometimes I feel like a motherless child and Too close to heaven
