The album features a mix of upbeat rock and roll tracks and slow ballads, showcasing Lee's ability to tackle a wide range of musical genres. The standout tracks on the album include the title track "Let's Jump the Broomstick," which is a catchy and energetic rock and roll number, as well as the emotive ballad "That's All You Gotta Do." Merci à cette formidable et inoubliable interprète Brenda Lee ????✿❤ au timbre vocal marginal et cuivré ! Magnifique Opus indémodable de l'auteur compositeur : Ronnie Self❤️?????????✿❤

I grew up listening to this song along with tons of
late 1950’s songs at my grandparents house ever since I was a toddler. Then in 2013 Kanye West sampled Brenda’s vocals for a whole new generation, so people would be looking back at this kinda music even more. Sadly my grandfather is no longer alive, but he introduced me to some great catchy timeless tunes. :)

If ya listen to all the recent women singing their versions of this on their various youtube channels, you will immediately come to know: There was....and is: ONLY ONE Brenda Lee. NONE of those ladies sound like her at all........NOT EVEN CLOSE. Brenda had the amazing ability to sing the sweetest, clean, high vocals.......yet she could also sing with that patented "female saxaphone" high raspy voice that she was so well known for, equally as well.

If I heard this song without seeing Brenda Lee you could have put her in a lineup with five other women and I would never have put that voice with the small shy looking singer.

Great voice, terrific songwriting from Ronnie Self (a truly unhinged rockabilly nutter) but the arrangement is too polite and inoffensive. Shame cos it coulda been a great record
