Review by Sam Reyes

Reactor4, the latest album by the punk rock band Crisis, is a powerful and politically charged collection of songs that showcase the band's signature style and energy. From the opening track "Holocaust" to the closing number "UK '79," Crisis delivers a relentless onslaught of raw and aggressive punk rock that is sure to satisfy fans of the genre.

The album's title track, "Reactor4," is a standout moment that showcases the band's ability to blend punk rock with elements of post-punk and new wave. The track features a catchy synth riff that adds a unique texture to the band's sound and creates an eerie, apocalyptic atmosphere.

Lyrically, the album tackles a range of political and social issues, from the dangers of nuclear power to the rise of fascism in Europe. The band's vocalist, Kipper, delivers each line with a sense of urgency and conviction, making it clear that Crisis has something important to say.

About Crisis

The Crisis project came about in early 2009 after recording the album Reactor4. Reactor number 4 was the nuclear reactor that exploded within the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, Ukraine, in 1986. It was considered to be the worst nuclear disaster in history. The disaster left the city of Prypiat abandoned. To this day the city remains an exclusion zone. The recordings on this album were made to create a soundtrack to the whole era, when in 1986 the Western world learned of the disaster. (Crisis are not linked to the early punk band of the same name).
