This initial solo album by Eddie was spot on in highlighting his awesome falsetto tenor and his chest voice tenor. The songs had meaning with excellent musical components. The album was everything we wanted from Eddie while he was in the Temptations but the group and their producer Norman Whitfield concentrated on the high voltage , even screaming, psychedic soul.
Love. Love. Love. I Imagine that if there is a hell it must feel like this; Orange juice, strawberries & blood running down my arms from that moment that I cut my hand from reaching in to touch my lovers beautiful face. This love will burn forever.

I have realized I wasted too much time listening to white singers. All good, but this cat is SPECIAL...this music has groove that is deep. This guy easily could have been the MJ of the 70's. Michael Jackson got too much attention...anyone that rises that high must give credit to the history...this is history! 1971...come on. Pure talent...
