Review by Joey Sforza

The Electric Prunes' album "I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night" is a psychedelic masterpiece that has stood the test of time. Released in 1967, the album features the band's signature sound of fuzzed-out guitars, swirling organ, and trippy lyrics. The album's title track is a standout, with its haunting melody and dreamy atmosphere. The rest of the album is just as impressive, with tracks like "Get Me to the World on Time" and "Are You Lovin' Me More (But Enjoying It Less)" showcasing the band's songwriting skills and musical prowess. The Electric Prunes were ahead of their time, and this album is a testament to their innovative sound and enduring influence. Fans of psychedelic rock and 60s music will not be disappointed with "I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night."

Notes

This version has labels with no producer credit under the band name, "Damo Productions, Inc." at bottom, and "The" in band's name is printed on top of the border line between brown and orange on labels. This is likely a 1st or early pressing, as the white label promos also have the Damo credit.
