G.B.H. (Charged GBH) are an English hardcore punk band, formed in 1978. GBH were early pioneers of English street punk, along with Discharge, Broken Bones, The Exploited, and The Varukers. They have gone on to influence several punk rock musicians. GBH the name was inspired by then-bassist Sean McCarthy's trial for grievous bodily harm

I really liked this release best of all the CASSETTES I had heard in my youth. My Walkman loved this and Descendants!

The band's 1987 album, No Need To Panic, contains more active-pickup distortion, but that doesn't mean it sound like metal as stated by some sources: on the contrary, remains indistinguishable from their past efforts.

The Accused, Circle Jerks and GBH @the Santa Monica Civic Center. (1988)GBH's sound was unbelievable. So full & loud. Plus 3 slam pits up front. It's one of those shows I'll never forget.
