Review by Rita O'Neal

American Tapestry is an impressive album that showcases the works of some of the most iconic American composers of all time. Featuring the likes of Hanson, Gershwin, Bennett, Sousa, Jenkins, Bryant, Williams, Tucker, Richard Shuster, Lone Star Wind Orchestra, and Eugene Migliaro Corporon, this album is a must-have for any lover of classical music.

The album features a stunning collection of pieces, ranging from the upbeat and lively marches of Sousa to the more somber and contemplative works of Gershwin and Hanson. Each piece is beautifully performed by the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, under the skilled direction of Eugene Migliaro Corporon.

One of the standout pieces on the album is Richard Shuster's "Sinfonia for Winds," which is a bold and dynamic composition that showcases the full range of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra's talents. Another highlight is the hauntingly beautiful "Quiet City" by Aaron Copland, which features stunning solos by trumpet and English horn.
