Revisitied this track after wearing out a casette called "Modern Dance" in the early 80s. First time I've re-listened to this in 30 years. This is SUCH a quality track, love that bass synth.
Takes me back and sounds as good as ever
Talk bout chance ...
Was looking up Kyu Sakamoto, 60s one hit wonder, who perished in a 1985 JAL crash, the same in which a Japanese banker died, who had a secret second family living in London, who's daughters play violin and piano, and have just started a cooperation with Foxx...
And I now a find back this long forgotten Indy hit - which refers not just to rain that gets you wet, but also to the kind that gets you radiated, known otherwise as radioactive fall out.
Making full circle, as Kyo Sakamoto big hit Sukiyaki was not about stew, but the original words evocated the sad feelings of failed protests against a military treaty which people feared might get Japan nuked again.

Is it such an underground track or how come it isn’t that popular?? For me it has always been a classic of that early 80s Disco wave but apparently it wasn’t…
So beautiful. One of my all time favourites <3
