Review by Krista Thrasher

Born On The Fourth Of July The Complete Motion Picture Score by John Williams is a mesmerizing and emotional album that perfectly captures the essence of the film. The score is a beautiful blend of orchestral and electronic elements, which creates a unique and powerful sound that perfectly complements the film's themes of patriotism, sacrifice, and loss.

The album features a total of 14 tracks, each of which is masterfully crafted to evoke a specific emotion or mood. From the stirring opening track "Prologue" to the hauntingly beautiful "Homecoming," the score takes listeners on a journey through the highs and lows of the film's protagonist, Ron Kovic.

The orchestration is simply stunning, with Williams making full use of the orchestra to create a rich and powerful sound. The use of electronic elements adds a modern touch to the score, which perfectly captures the spirit of the film.

To Anna Lucia...I can remember dancing you to sleep on my shoulder to this one, when you were just a tiny baby. This song is everything.

Edie Brickell brings something out of the song that even the author Dylan couldn't reach. It sounds like a mother searching the Earth for her lost son and then asking him what kind of life he had since they parted... heartbreaking ... she conveys that beautifully

Edie gave this song life. Dylan did what he does. Pearl Jam drummer what’s up.

Really wish the solo acoustic version from the film was available. The full band is OK but her vocal is even better in the film, stands out more.
