Review by Robert B. Fishman

The album "Fire and Brimstone" by Link Wray is a true testament to the legacy of the rock and roll pioneer. Released in 1971, the album features Wray's signature guitar sound that has influenced countless musicians over the years.

From the opening track "La De Da" to the closing number "Rumble," the album is a showcase of Wray's raw and powerful guitar playing. The songs are a mix of instrumentals and vocals, each one showcasing Wray's unique style.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Fallin' Rain," a haunting ballad that features Wray's guitar alongside a string section. The song's melancholic melody and Wray's emotive playing make it a standout moment on the album.

Used to magnificent effect in S1, Ep. 5 of Paramount+'s series, COYOTE, when Michael Chiklis is working lunchpail gang-style building a house on a bluff overlooking the Pacific in Baja California del Norte, Mexico! Silky but muscular guitar from the great Link Wray!

I can hear how Link Wray would have influenced many of the top bands we know. I don’t mean just from this album which was released in 1971 but from all the music he wrote and played in earlier years.
Ps: I love this album !!

If he could have just sang the entire song like he does at the very end at 3:53 I would have this song as my alarm clock

Yeah I'm feeling this. I have tons of old music, records and such but I have to admit I first heard this on a video game. I didn't know it was Link Wray I'd only ever heard him playing instrumentals
