Well.. - this is undoubtedly a Hol(l)y-Song! ;-)

With the "death" the human being gives away only his coarse-material body again which he put on during the pregnancy.
He also taught the sense of each/all life: To go on on our way home back to God. And this is never to be created in ONE life, it needs a lot of it.
That soul, which carried the name Buddy Holly up to its going home on 03. February 1959, is - meanwhile more than 60 years ago - surely already long ago incarnated again, and makes surely again, even if with other name, great music.

Great tribute. Hard to believe Holly wrote so many fantastic songs and influenced so many artist in the 22 short years of his life.
