Pacific Gas & Electric's album "Live N Kicking At Lexington" is a high-energy, soulful performance that captures the essence of the band's live shows. From the opening track "Introduction" to the closing number "Bluesbuster," the album is a non-stop ride of blues and rock 'n' roll.
The band's frontman, Charlie Allen, delivers powerful vocals that are both gritty and soulful. His performance on "Staggolee" and "Stormy Times" is particularly impressive, showcasing his range and intensity.
The musicianship on the album is equally impressive. The guitar work by Glenn Schwartz and Tom Marshall is outstanding, with both players trading solos and riffs throughout the set. The rhythm section of Brent Block on bass and Adolfo de la Parra on drums provides a solid foundation for the band's sound.
