Review by Daniel Montiel

Remote Viewers' latest album, Stranded Depots, is a haunting and mesmerizing work of art that showcases the band's experimental and avant-garde approach to jazz. From the opening track, "The Drowned World," to the closing number, "The Last Train," the album takes the listener on a journey through a dystopian world where the boundaries between reality and imagination are blurred.

The album features a wide range of instruments, including saxophones, clarinets, keyboards, and percussion, all of which are masterfully played by the band's members. The tracks are filled with intricate melodies, dissonant harmonies, and unexpected twists and turns that keep the listener engaged and on edge throughout the entire album.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "The Disappearance of Mr. Whicher," a haunting and atmospheric piece that features a beautiful saxophone solo by Adrian Northover. Another highlight is "The Ghosts of the Great Highway," a hypnotic and pulsating track that showcases the band's ability to create complex and layered compositions.
