Tigertailz - Young And Crazy

Review by Jordan Hanley

Young and Crazy, the album released by Tigertailz, is a high-energy, hard-rocking romp through the band's signature sound. With a mix of catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and powerful vocals, the album is a perfect showcase for the band's talents.

From the opening track, "Love Bomb Baby," Tigertailz sets the tone for the album, delivering a hard-hitting, anthemic sound that's sure to get listeners pumped up. The title track, "Young and Crazy," is another standout, with its catchy chorus and driving beat.

Throughout the album, Tigertailz showcases their versatility, blending different styles and genres, from the punk-inspired "Shoot to Kill" to the more melodic "Living Without You." And while the band's sound is undeniably rooted in the '80s hair metal scene, there's a freshness and energy to the music that makes it feel contemporary and relevant.

UK's Tigertailz released four albums before disbanding and reforming in 2005: their 1987 debut, Young and Crazy, is a clone of Kiss, Def Leppard, Guns 'n' Roses and Ratt.

Everyday gets a little bit harder
I reach out for someone to hold
My love for you everyday gets stronger
You turn your back and than you act so cold
People say I’m not believing, can the lies we hide be true
Open up your mind to reason, to make it last ill leave it up to you

(Course)
Back on my own again, I’m alone, livin without you
Back on my own again, I’m alone
Back on my own again, I’m alone, livin without you
Back on my own again, I’m alone

I see my dreams lying shattered and broken
No where to run I can hide the pain
I wanna reach out but my eyes wont open
I’m blind and I cannot ever feel the same
My mind is leading me can not take it no longer
The battles over in my heart, I know
Stranded I am lost I am feeling colder
Break These Chains of love I'm letting go

(Course)
Back on my own again, I’m alone, livin without you
Back on my own again, I’m alone
Back on my own again, I’m alone, livin without you
Back on my own again, I’m alone
Maybe now we can escape the hunger
Through the life we see the light again
Passion man said a dream is broken
Reality shows his face again

Back on my own again, I’m alone

Great tune!!! I still remember buying this in early '88. Seen it advertised in either Hit Parader or Metal Edge magazine. Hell, I didn't even hear one song, or see a video, it was a wild buy....lol!!! Never regretted it, the whole album kicks ass!!!!
fusiontvnetwork
This is easily the best version in my opinion. Once Hooker took over vocals they became another generic glam band.
cjayanth95
I saw them yesterday night and man, you can trust me, they are so fucking awesome. In fact, I hugged Jay Pepper after the show.
