Review by Sue Quirante

The Saga Begins, the thirteenth studio album by "Weird Al" Yankovic, was released in 1999. The album is a tribute to the Star Wars franchise and features parodies of popular songs from the time, including "American Pie" and "Livin' la Vida Loca."

The album was well-received by critics, who praised Yankovic's ability to create humorous and catchy songs that also pay tribute to the original material. The title track, "The Saga Begins," which tells the story of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, was particularly popular and received significant airplay on radio stations.

I love weird Al and how he looks but his hair in this video is better that the long hair he has now

People assume Weird al parodied this song soley based off the teaser/nain trailer before the movie came out. However that isn't the case. Because in this song he brings up too many plot points that weren't in the teaser or main trailer. I'm sure he had early access to watch the movie before the movie came out in 99'. Like when he mentioned how anakin's midi-xhlorians were off the scale, or how he knew what gungans were. They were never mentioned in any trailer. Oh and how about when he mentioned how rhe council forbidden obi wan to teach him. The main trailer only showed pod racing, darth maul, ect.
