Hair / Glam Metal (Heavy Metal) band from New York (USA).
Wildstreet began in 2006. Over the course of the next 7 years, the band released two EPs & two music videos which have received well-over 3,000,000 youtube views. Wildstreets songs have appeared on National/International TV networks including: MTV, VH1, Oxygen, TBS and in a THQ Video game. The band toured non-stop from 2009-2013, and appeared at the largest US music festivals: including SXSW, M3 rock festival, and headlined the side stage at Rocklahoma for 5 years straight. The band was also their regions winner in the Best Buy/Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Rockstar Energys Uproar Festival, sharing the bill with Avenged Sevenfold, and Three Days Grace. They opened for a number of well-known bands including The Bouncing Souls, Twisted Sister, Michael Monroe, Crashdiet, Kix, LA Guns.

If 80s sleaze and glam would have seen more bands like this instead of bands like Bad English, and all the clones of Poison, etc. Maybe it wouldn't have gotten kicked in the balls by Grunge. A lot of the bands in the 80s-early 90s had gotten neutered. No attitude and the sleazy glam rock n roll had mostly been replaced by more polished, radio friendly, bands like Firehouse. It should have stayed more in the direction of bands like Vain, Faster Pussycat, Hanoi Rocks.

Thank god for this, I thought 80s glam&sleaze metal had gone and all I was left with was the memories of a truly awesome decade, but this has put my faith back! Keep it loud and where’s my faster pussycat shirt and bullet belt???
