Blues singer and guitarist, born Winona, Mississippi, died Chicago, Illinois, 19 January 1969.
McKinley recorded for Parrot, States, Vee-Jay, and B&B between 1953 and 1964, and also accompanied Eddie Boyd, Ernest Cotton, Curtis Jones, and Tampa Red, all sessions taking place in Chicago.
