A little Jenny Holzer mixed with post 90s awareness (the verve), hip hop, audience bearing, Zappa stage language, and righteousness allowing innocence; even when some expect the exaggerated results; larger closeups, faster cuts, face smacking go pro hoops in black rooms, and surround sound O̶t̶i̶s̶ ̶R̶e̶d̶d̶i̶n̶g̶ Otis Reddit . ..Let me get my cup of coffee now. There is a 1/2 second use of the alarm sound in Riley's piece; other than that, but inclusive of that, is a subtle dry joke about secondhand remixing, as mixing is potentially infinite, even if its just retakes on Killing Me Softly; this is how it would sound when a rock and roll band covers a phasing remix of a pop song. It is 90s style, because that is indicative of the nit picky group that moves around, switching between bands, with the nerdy front man that looks like "Weird Al." Within this composure, small details are unavoidable, If you've ever edited under the mindset of selecting 1 second of green screen and transparency filters to allow visual contextual play to exist between the space where the t shirt words merge with the hula hoops, then you know what i'm talking about; its not accidental. They were thinking about Terry Riley . Most people wouldn't see that' or at least concur with its presentation. I just hope they realize this.

I wanted to like this more than I did. It's a pleasant cover of the original Harvey Averne track but doesn't engage with any of the looping/tape techniques in Terry Riley's piece. Well performed, but it doesn't really have anything do with Riley's work.
