Review by Vincent Knaus

The album Reflection by 아버지 is a masterpiece that showcases the unique sound and style of this talented artist. The album features a blend of electronic and traditional Korean music, creating a mesmerizing and immersive listening experience.

From the opening track, "Reflection," to the closing song, "Hope," each track offers a different perspective on life and the world around us. The album is a journey through the artist's thoughts and emotions, and it's clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into every detail.

One of the standout tracks is "Echoes," which features haunting vocals and an atmospheric, almost otherworldly sound. The use of traditional Korean instruments such as the gayageum and the haegeum gives the album a unique flavor and adds to its authenticity.

The first song is what it sounds like when I get in a deep philosophical debate with a 1990s fax machine. This album is amazing background noise when high, and I've meditated to it before. Absolutely otherworldly music.

I've heard ppl say that while thus album is about letting ones depression overcome them until they unalive themselves, while tomorrow is a moment of clarity, where the character of this album is able to see things in a more optimistic light, and they're able to start living their life the way they want.

I believe tomorrow is about setting your expectations too high. I believe the main character of this album reached what narcotics anonymous calls the "pink cloud". Where things seem to be okay, so you overstep thinking you're ready for much more. The main character asked that person out on a date, applied for that job, invested in a new company. And it didn't go the way they planned. And instead of allowing themselves to just breathe and try again, they were overcome with despair. And they couldn't take it.

The one moment that life lets you live it the way you want, something can take that feeling away from you. That sense of peace. That feeling that says "maybe I will make it passed 25." Gone. Maybe forever. You may or may not live long enough to find out.
