Original pressings have black and silver Philips labels with the Philips wording in a very bold font. The backcover shows ads for more albums from the ''This is'' series.
Variant: Everything identical but labels are BLUE and silver with 'Made In England' above 'P 1971'.
A well-made counterfeit is in existance, but this has a backcover without those ads.

This version fits the description above.
Known to be manufactured by Hungaroton in Hungary. Date is not perfectly shure, but it appears at this time on the European market.
Extended version of their 1972 LP release, with the "What's Come To Be" track put back into "Super Nova" as originally intended. This also contains "Once In A Windy Day" - omitted from the original LP due to time constraints.

UK progressive band. Formed in 1964 as "Satan's Disciples" by Alan Cowderoy and Paul Davis. In 1968 renamed as Gracious. The band disbanded in 1971 after Lipson's and Kitcat's departure due to very little financial funding for the band and Philips Records refusal to release 'This is... Gracious!!' due to contractual disputes. In this time they recorded 2 albums, Gracious! and This is... Gracious!! Original line-up: Paul Davis - vocals, guitars. Tim Wheatley - bass. Martin Kitcat - keyboards, vocals. Alan Cowderoy - guitar, vocals. Robert Lipson - drums. In 1996 Wheatley and Lipson reunited under the Gracious and year later recorded album "Echo". As for the other members, Martin Kitcat had passed away. Sandy Davis lived in Germany, and Alan Cowderoy felt he could not commit to the project although he plays lead guitar on the first track of the album.

Don't listen to the negative reviews - this album is a work of genius! In fact, it's one of my favorite prog albums, and in my estimation, its severely underrated. It's also a tremendous leap forward from their debut album. In actuality, it's full of catchy material and beautiful melodies - much more so than other prog bands of the same era. Of course, when you listen to prog, you have to be patient and let the songs unfold. So, put on a good pair of headphones, relax, and let the entire album play in full - you won't be disappointed. For anyone who appreciates early prog pioneers like King Crimson, Rare Bird, or Greenslade, this is the album for you!

This is incredible! I was 11 going on 12 when the first album came out so I missed it completely back then (along with all of the other “swirl “ albums from 1969 to 1973. I have started replacing them again, albeit at a crawl!

A quel tempo inizi 70 andavano i GRACIOUS e altre bands innovative artistiche geniali sperimentali come loro era un fermento di creatività e di VERA musica con la M maiuscola,qui erano al festival dell'isola di WIGHT dove altre bands straordinarie si presentarono vedi JETHRO TULL, PROCOL HARUM,EL&P , JIMY HENDRIX EXPERIENCE, credo anche I PINK FLOYD, MOODY BLUES, penso anche i BLACK WIDOW ed altri ancora, e poi curiosità, presenti alla tre giorni del concerto ma non protagonisti sul palco,ma semplici spettatori pare vi fossero anche le nostre ORME!!!!!!!! Che musica che tempi che momenti straordinari di emozioni in musica DAVVERO!!! Oggi??? Anni 2000 cosa c'è che sta andando nel rock chi sta facendo tendenza??? I MANESKIN!!!!!! Giudicate VOI !!!!!!! Io NON ho parole dico SOLO come la musica sia caduta così in BASSO!!!!!!! E NON SOLO con loro !!!!!!! Trap Rap etc !!!!!!
